The Crime of stalking in Italy.

We discuss today on the so called“atti persecutori in Italia”

The Italian criminal Code establishes (article 612 bis) that << except when the crime constitutes a more serious criminal offence, the penalty will be prison from 6 months to 5 years to the one who threatnes continously or disturbs another one causing him/her a serious and lasting state of anxiety or of fear provoking in the stalked person a reasonable fear for his/her safety or for the one of a parent or of a person with whom the victim has a relationship and this causes a change in daily habits.>>
