The spanish “Real Decreto Ley 8/2020” has established that during the spanish state of alarm due to the Coronavirus- COVID-19 emergency are not permitted extraordinary commercial campaigns in Spain where number portability is needed because this may increase the number of times people go outside from their houses to go to these service centers or may oblige the providers to realize physical works.

In Spain during the state of alarm the portability operations of mobile numbers and land lines are suspended (if they are not already underway) except exceptional cases of force majeure.
